Early 1L Bier KrugEarly 1L beer krug. The 1L mark is directly on the front which makes it at least pre WWII, probably before WWI. AS IS. There are some hairline cracks on the side by the handle and on the handle itself. It needs a good cleaning. This is a krug, not a stein. Stein is what English speakers and tourists say. In German a stein is a stone, and is not used to describe a beverage container.
